Snow angels

Remember that time when you laid in the snow as a kid with arms and legs stretched out wide and felt the frozen snow falling over you as you created an image of an angel in the snow?

Those childhood wonder memories are something that shaped our joy in this world.

Adults rarely do that anymore. There might be one or two of you out there that still take advantage of a good snowfall and make your angel.

We had a snow the other day and I convinced my daughter to run outside and give me a few poses I could work with to create some Storybook Images. I have this fabulous skirt that works so well with snow and mountains! It's not a "lay in the snow" outfit, but it does remind me of a beautiful angel.

Art is meant to awaken the imagination in a way that words can't do.

We created these out in the street in front of our house and then I transformed them to fit my own imagination.

I don't really know what angels look like but as a kid I wished they looked like this.

Below is a photo of my niece who looks almost identical to my daughter!
